How are you?
Many of us will answer ‘fine’, even when we’re not.
Too often, mental health problems are treated as a taboo subject –something not to be talked about, especially at work. However, mental health affects us all and we should feel able to talk about it. There are lots of different ways to have a conversation about mental health. And you don’t have to be an expert to talk. So, while you are in traffic or on your lunch break why not to discuss 5 mental health issues with your colleague? However you do it, make a conversation about mental health. Support us and your co-workers and change the mind-set of others.
As an ongoing movement of Mental Health Awareness Faradays will be signing Time to Change Employer Pledge on 1st of March as our commitment to you all to stand against Mental Health stigma and create an open environment where Mental Health is supported, understood and free of judgment.
As part of our continuing commitment to this, we are supporting Time to Talk Day. Taking place on Thursday 7 February, this is a day when everyone is encouraged to have a conversation about mental health.
As a part of Time to Talk Day we will be sharing some useful information regarding Mental Health on or Facebook Business Page. Please feel free to share your experience, stories and any useful information with us.
We want everyone to feel they can be open about their mental health, and ask for support if they need it.
