As a result of unsafe planning of work area on construction site workers are killed or injured every year; others suffer ill health, such as musculoskeletal disorders, dermatitis or asbestosis.
Construction sites being no adequately controlled can potentially kill or injure members of public and contractors. The most frequent causes of accidental death and injury are: falls, mobile plant, falling materials and collapse, electrical accidents and trips.
